Meet the Animal Travel Team

As a qualified Veterinary Nurse Narelle has trained with some of Australia's leading feline and canine veterinarians so her experience with dogs and cats is extensive. Narelle has also been breeding and showing dogs for more than 40 years. She is a published author of dog books and is a licensed All breeds dog judge. Narelle has for many years run a successful boutique style boarding kennel and cattery. Narelle is owned by several cattle dogs and 3 cats "Safin" the Russian Blue, "Cinnamon" and Midi" two Domestic Shorthairs. All 3 cats are rescues from the Hawkesbury pound.
Narelle looks after all international relocations both leaving Australia and coming to Australia.
Ken Hammond
Ken has bred and shown dogs in excess of 30 years and is a licensed All Breeds Dog judge. Ken holds a Diploma in Animal Care, Work Place Safety and also has an Order of Australia for his service to the Fire Industry for which he was involved as a Fire Engineer for 35 years. Ken has assisted Narelle in running a successful boutique style boarding kennel and cattery. Ken is owned by Dobermann "Morgan" and Miniature Pinscher "Eddie", two Himalayan cats "Marlow" and "April" that were both rescue cats from Hawkesbury Pound and Canary "Hansi" (who Ken and Narelle acquired when the owners were unable to take him to Europe). Ken is the Animal Travel driver and looks after all the very important pets from pick up to airline lodgements.
Debbie McGrath
Debbie looks after all the Australia wide relocations and is normally the first person you speak with when you call Animal Travel. Debbie lives with her 2 sons and "Trevor" the Chihuahua. Trevor wandered into Animal Travel and after an exhaustive search for his owners Trevor's fate was looking grim as the next stop was the local pound., Debbie decided that Trevor needed some TLC and has been her constant companion ever since.
Scott Robertson
Scott is our Kennel and Cattery Manager and cares for all the very important pets whilst in transit and long term boarding. Scott is studying Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing by correspondence with Applied Vocational Training WA. Scott and his wife Anna have recently purchased their first home and after extensive research eagerly look forward to welcoming their first dog a Japanese Spitz once they have settled into their new home.
Amara Hamilton
Amara came to Animal Travel from NOVA employment who supports people with disabilities. Amara is extremely gifted with animals and lives with her mum and several rescue dogs from Hawkesbury pound. Amara has completed Cert II in horse studies. Through her employment with Animal Travel Amara commenced a three year traineeship in Animal Care and Management (Animal Studies II). Amara under the guidance of Narelle, Ken and Scott, cares for the dogs and cats in transit and in long term boarding.
